How to Place an Order on the Website

Start with the product you want on thestackhouse.com. In the current order builder, upload your image, then work through Size & Crop, Media, and Border when those options apply. Check the preview and quantity, add the print to your cart, review the order, and complete checkout. If you need help with the upload step, see How to Upload Your Files.

Before You Begin

• Have your artwork ready as a JPEG, PNG, or TIFF. Each file must be no larger than 1 GB, 324 megapixels, or 18,000 pixels on either side.
• Know the print size, material, quantity, and shipping address you want. You can order as a guest; sign in if you want to use images saved in your account Library.
• Contact us before ordering if you have a firm deadline or a special request that could change pricing, production, or shipping.

How It Works

Step 1: Choose a product

Find the print product you want and start its order builder. The current builder begins with the Image step. You can also choose the classic order builder from that page.

Step 2: Upload your artwork

Select Upload images in the current builder and choose up to 10 files at once. If you use the classic builder, select Browse files. Wait for the upload to finish and choose the image you want to configure.

Step 3: Set up the print

Choose the size and crop, media, border, and any other options available for that product. Review the preview to make sure the important parts of your artwork are inside the print area. Set the quantity you need before adding the print to your cart.

Step 4: Review your cart

Check each print, its options, quantity, and price. If you are ordering more images, configure and add each print before moving to checkout.

Step 5: Complete checkout

Enter your contact and shipping details, choose an available delivery option, and review the total. Enter any eligible discount code before you place the order. Confirm the details, then submit the order once.

Step 6: Check the confirmation

After checkout, look for the confirmation page and email. Save the order number and review the items and shipping details. If you do not see a confirmation, check your email before trying to place the order again. See Placing an Order and Confirmation Page for more detail.

Important Notes

• Review the crop and product choices for every print, including when you upload several files together.
• Check the shipping address and any discount before submitting the order. Changes may be limited once production begins.
• If checkout does not finish or you are unsure whether the order went through, check for a confirmation before submitting again. See Troubleshooting Checkout and Order Issues.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an account to order?

No. You can upload artwork and order as a guest. Sign in to access images saved in your account Library.

Can I order several images at once?

Yes. The current builder lets you select up to 10 files at a time. Configure each print, then check all of them in your cart before checkout.

Where do I enter a discount code?

Enter it during checkout before placing the order. If it does not apply, see Guide to Coupon Codes.

Can I change an order after checkout?

Contact us as soon as possible with the order number and the exact change needed. Changes may not be possible once production begins. See Modifying or Canceling an Order Before Processing.
