A Mounted Print is a photo, fine art, or canvas print bonded to a rigid 3/16-inch board. Mounting keeps the print flat and adds structure for framing, presentations, exhibitions, or other indoor displays. Choose the print media first, then the backing board.
Choose the print surface
Mounted Prints can use selected photo papers, fine art papers, or canvas. A photo paper gives a familiar photographic finish, a fine art paper offers smooth or textured art surfaces, and canvas adds a woven surface. Compare the available media on the Mounted Prints page before choosing.
Choose the backing board
- 3/16-inch white foam board: a lightweight option for indoor presentations and temporary displays.
- 3/16-inch black Gatorfoam: a denser, more rigid option for longer-term displays or higher-traffic settings.
The board is part of the mounted print, not a frame or a retail packaging option. If your display needs an easel, stand, or other support, plan that separately. If it needs a specific frame, check the frame's usable opening and depth before ordering.
Before you order
- Select the print media for the look of the artwork, then select the board for the display setting.
- Check size and crop in the order preview. Keep important details away from any edge that could be covered by a frame.
- Confirm how the finished board will be supported or displayed.
If you want a flexible, loose print, compare Professional Photo Prints or Giclée Fine Art Prints. For a stretched canvas wall piece, compare Gallery Wrapped Canvas Prints.
