Short Summary
This article explains how U.S. shipping works for Stackhouse print orders and why shipping costs can vary by product type, size, and packaging.
Quick Answer
Standard UPS Ground is our recommended domestic shipping option. Exact shipping costs are calculated in the cart once your product, size, file, and destination are known.
Before You Begin
- Shipping cost depends on product type, size, packaging, and destination.
- Mounted prints and gallery wraps ship in sized packaging.
- Packaged prints require protective packaging and do not ship via Economy.
Policy Details
The Stackhouse ships domestic orders through USPS and UPS, with tracking or delivery updates when the order ships. For most domestic orders, Standard UPS Ground is the recommended option.
Loose prints are commonly shipped rolled when the final size is large enough to make flat shipping less safe or more expensive. By default, loose prints larger than 12x16 and canvas prints larger than 10x14 may ship rolled in tubes for safer delivery.
Mounted prints and gallery wraps ship through UPS Ground in sized packaging. The shipping cost is based on what the box actually costs to ship.
Packaged prints require protective packaging. Larger packaged-print orders can add oversize fees.
Flat Shipping Requests
Flat shipping may be available for loose prints by request. Contact us before placing the order if flat shipping is important.
Current flat-shipping reference:
- Up to 18x24: $30 UPS Ground flat shipping charge.
- Up to 24x30: $45 UPS Ground flat shipping charge.
- Up to 30x40: $75 UPS Ground flat shipping charge.
