On a gallery-wrapped canvas, the edge choice controls what appears on the sides of the stretched canvas. The current order builder offers Mirrored, Black, and White. Black and White are the solid-color choices.
Mirrored edges
Mirrored repeats the image near the edge onto the wrapped sides. It gives the sides image color and texture while keeping the main artwork on the front face. Check the layout preview to see where the front face ends and the wrapped area begins.
Solid black or white edges
Choose Black or White when you want one solid color on the sides instead of repeated artwork. This can be useful when the image has a busy edge or the side color is part of your display plan.
Before adding the wrap to your cart
- Set the image size and crop. Keep signatures and other important details inside the front face.
- Choose Mirrored, Black, or White and inspect the layout preview.
- Review the mockup and the separate stretcher-bar option before checkout.
This edge setting applies to gallery-wrapped canvas, not the unprinted paper borders used for loose prints. For paper borders, see How to Use Borders in Your Prints. If you need an edge treatment that is not shown, ask us before ordering.
